Thanks for sharing. So far I've read the gamehead articles and feel I got a lot from them. Just won a 3- player game with the "mechana-machine". That's my first 3-player win. :-D

heya, Haledyr --

those GameHead articles are pretty great, but i gotta tell you, i'm not sure i agree with his assessment of some of the cards...  a lot of what he says makes a lot of sense, but some of the cards he rates low on the ladder seem pretty great to me...

but, if nothing else, it's all fodder for the cerebral cannon, and if the critical thinking engine is turning over, that's a good sign...

i hope...

;-)

Yes, I don't entirely agree with his assessments either. But it's very good for the beginner as an example of the types of things to pay attention to when evaluating cards.

hey --

i just wanted to post a quick "thank you" to everyone who has offered up their experience an insights on Ascension strategy & tactics in the forums here...  as a result, my game has come quite a ways toward being better, although i'm still just not really very good at Ascension, despite putting a lot of work into it...  the fault there lies with me, given the treasure trove of information you have all been so forthcoming with...  just because i stink at it doesn't mean i don't enjoy it, though...  really, thanks, all...

peace --
