  1. We sent you an email with your Steam key and instructions on how to redeem it.
  2. Version will be available within the next few minutes through Steam for both PC and Mac. - Fixed online games not completing properly when ended by certain Events (Summit or Olympic Games, for example)
  3. Yes, it does matter that they were CCW variant games. If you look in your profile, you can scroll down on the right side of the screen, and there is a separate section for Variant Games.
  4. Looks like there's an issue with the turn announcement playing while the loading screen is still visible. We'll get that fixed for the next build. In the meantime, set your Announcements to None in the settings. Then this game will load and you can play. Once you've taken your first turn, you should be able to set Announcements back to Pause.
  5. Do you have any games currently in your offline game list?
  6. Yes, it's a bug. The indicator will come on every time you start a new game. This will be fixed in the next update.
  7. We use glicko-2 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glicko_rating_system
  8. Send email to support@playdekgames.com and we'll get you straightened out.
  9. We're releasing an update to Steam within the next hour or so. You will need to update in order to play online. Steam should update the client automatically, but if it doesn't closing Steam and relaunching will trigger the download. - Fixed influence animations to map not completing properly - Fixed Vietnam Revolts and China Card interaction in Asia - Fixed Flower Power/Arab Israeli War/Camp David Accords bug - Fixed bug with passing action round when Cuban Missile Crisis is in play - Fixed being able to undo after AI headline card is revealed - Several cards need to have commit points added - Coup Popup now shows correct Military Ops gain when opponent attempts a coup - Fixed Algerian flag - Fixed the online create game not saving additional influence setting correctly - Find Game screen no shows the host's online status icon - Add Friend input field limit increased to 30 characters - Fixed text coloring on ingame chat - Fixed map jiggle on ultra-wide displays - Fixed text alignment on several cards - Fixed rulebook and tutorial text errors - Tutorial now plays all announcements as Auto Play - Drag cards are no longer stuck over UI after application loses focus - Added tooltips to region scoring widget - Added text warning for offline forfeit
  10. The held scoring card situation is implemented correctly in the game.
  11. We don't want games to end in ties. The current tiebreaker is "USA wins ties", but that's a placeholder. I'll need to consult with GMT on how they handle ties when they run tournaments at conventions.
  12. Do you have any games in your game list when you click on Play Offline? How many?
  13. It is a bug. It is fixed in the update that we are testing now.
  14. Yes, we have a design that we're working on for something along these lines, but it didn't get done in time for release. You should see something to help with this issue in an update within a couple of weeks.
  15. Do you have a screenshot? If you see this occur again, please provide us with the game # (online) or submit the save file (offline).
  16. What were the other cards in your hand? Even if you don't have a valid card to discard to Blockade (i.e. if Red Scare/Purge was your opponent's headline), you should still have to select "None" for the discard effect of Blockade. Are you playing online or offline? If online, could you give us the game #? If offline, could you please submit the save files? http://playdek.invisionzone.com/index.php?/topic/1219-submitting-save-files/ Thanks.
  17. Yes, we've found and fixed this one already. Update coming soon to correct it for you.
  18. If this is an online game, please tell us the game #. If it is an offline game, please submit the save file: http://playdek.invisionzone.com/index.php?/topic/1219-submitting-save-files/ Thanks
  19. When you encounter a bug in offline play or a situation where the AI missed an obvious play, please follow this procedure for submitting the save game file to us. It is best if you don't play past the position in the game where the event occurred. On Windows, the save files are stored in your AppData directory. If you navigate to your home directory, you should see the AppData directory. It you don't see it, it is hidden by your file system. You can add AppData to the path in the address bar in Windows Explorer to get into it. From there, our save files in AppData\LocalLow\Playdek\Twilight Struggle. On Mac, the save files are stored under your home directory in ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Playdek.Twilight Struggle. Library might be hidden on your system, but you can use "Go/Go to Folder..." from the Finder menu to enter the path manually. Go ahead and zip up everything in the save directory and email it to support@playdekgames.com so we can take a look at it. Thanks!
  20. After you closed the program from the Task Manager, were you able to restart the application and load this game?
  21. Do you have game # for the 3 games where you encountered these bugs? It is very easy for us to look at what happened in those situations if we have the game #. Thanks.
  22. Brian, we sent you an email this afternoon with instructions on how to download the game via Steam.
  23. You only gain the space race bonus if you have achieved that level on the track and your opponent hasn't gotten there yet. Once he moved into space 2, neither of you can gain that bonus for the rest of the game. Sorry if that wasn't clear in the rules or the tutorial....
  24. What space is your opponent at on the space race track? If you have an online game #, we take a look at the specific instance where this occurred.
  25. Also happens with CIA Created, Lone Gunman, The Cambridge Five, Korean War, and maybe Aldrich Ames. It's on the list of things that we're looking to address over the next couple of updates.
